"Men don’t have privilege, there are women’s only gyms!"

"Why isn’t there a campus centre for straight/cis people!?"

Ok uhura-ismylastname, 10 years later:

1. What’s your OTP?

It’s gotta be Ron & Hermione

2. If you could travel in time (backwards or forwards), where and when would you go and why?

Backwards for sure.  Two reasons 1) Dinosaurs 2) Holy Week/Jesus/the passion

3. Do you prefer savory foods or sweets?

It’s probably about 50/50.  I just had the best bananas foster ever about a month ago though, so that probably tips the scale in favor of the sweets.

4. What’s your patronus?

A direwolf.  #worldscolliding

5. Are we alone in the universe?

Impossible.  There is other life out there.  There just has to be, and I really would love to meet them.

6. What is your absolute favorite college memory?

Standing on the stage at our final Johnnie Blend concert to a roaring standing ovation from the sold out crowd with 9 great friends right next to me.

7. What does your ideal mancave/womancave look, feel, smell, sound, taste (?) like?

HUGE couches big enough for 2 people to sleep on.  A big 100” projection screen with two 42” ones on either side to watch multiple sporting events at the same time.  Movie posters everywhere, a bar, and a bunch of geeky mercy stuff.

8. If you had to choose between hopping only on one leg or only speaking in song for the rest of your life, which would you choose?

OBVIOUSLY speaking in song.  I already do this from time to time.

9. Play Ted Mosby for a second and  - without looking one up - tell me one absolutely random and potentially pointless fact that you happen to know

You can figure out the key of any song by looking at the key signature. One half step above the right-most sharp, or the second flat from the right, OR a perfect fourth below the right-most flat is the key you’re in. Also, ever major key has a relative minor that shares the exact same key signature.  You can tell if you’re in major or minor by the tonic (do chord, I-chord).  Also, I hate Ted Mosby.

10.(I’m channelling Rebecca on this one a bit), what’s your favorite childhood memory?

Skipping around the house on Christmas morning with my sister and Dad with my mom watching on the couch, to this song that I’ve never been able to find, but would recognize immediately if I heard it again.

11. What is your favorite word in another language?

Schadenfreude.  Because its so fitting that Germans invented a word that describes joy at the suffering of other people.  It’s like exactly what you’d expect them to do.

So hot

Our life depends on the kind of thoughts we nurture. If our thoughts are peaceful, calm, meek, and kind, then that is what our life is like. If our attention is turned to the circumstances in which we live, we are drawn into a whirlpool of thoughts and can have neither peace nor tranquility.

"All of us sin constantly. We slip and fall. In reality we fall into traps set by the demons. The Holy Fathers and the saints always tell us, "It is important to get up immediately after a fall and to keep on walking toward God."
